From all aspects, what slogan do you think was the most powerful, the most effective advertising slogan you've ever seen?

I think Nike's "Just Do It." approach was the finest, as it was not only short and memorable, two statistically identifiable qualities which affects how effective a slogan is, but it also served as a means of psychologically enabling the consumer to purchase. Just do it? Well, OK. The slogan was also subtly coercive in this manner, making it an almost perfect manner in which for them to promote their product.

Everything George Lois ever pimped. If you haven't studied George Lois, you haven't studied the subject at all.

Fun fact. Salman Rushdie who got into all sorts of trouble when he wrote 'The Satanic Verses' was an advertising copywriter. He's responsible for the phrase "naughty but nice" which was used to advertise cream cakes in the UK. My favourite is an advert which was eventually banned in the UK because motorists were being distracted and crashing their cars. A rather large lady was advertising the wonderbra and underneath it just said "Hello Boys".

Some of the phrases commonly heard in entertainment advertising are getting overused. Cirque du So What now presents a short fable illustrating the consequences to which this could lead if gone unchecked. Thank you, good luck, and God bless America.

"Goldfish, the snack that smiles back." Although that's catchy, I've noticed that they no longer have faces.
