I suppose that is because some AS symptoms could mimic ADD symptoms
that makes sense. my nephew was diagnosed with both; i do wonder though if his ADD is really just aspie traits. for ex, if his inability to focus on putting shoes on (or even hear) when people are yelling at him to get ready to go somewhere is really due to too many lights on, too much noise, etc forcing him to zone out than actual inability to focus on the task at hand.
different doctors probably approach things differently.
