EA is offering Mass Effect for 75% off ($4.99) and Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 2 Digital Deluxe Edition for 40% off ($23.99 and $35.99) through Steam. I just bought ME2 myself, but I think someone would be nuts to pass up ME1 for $5. The game is really good! :)

I'm guessing it still has securom? If it didn't I'd be very disappointed that I don't have $5.

Mass Effect probably is a good game. Too bad the PC version is buggy as hell.

They should pay you $5 to put up with all the problems.

PC version of ME2 has its isues as well, but regardless, I think both are better on the computer. they run a whole lot faster and look way better than the console versions; if you have a PC like mine that is XD.
