"Homemade Aeroplane" recorded by Linda Bennett and used on Captain Kangaroo back in the early 1970s.
"Manhattan Spiritual" recorded by the Reg Owen Orchestra in 1959. (was actually quite popular then)
"Dick-A-Dum-Dum" recorded by Des O'Connor in 1969. (also popular then, used in Mr. Bean episode at New Years Eve)
"Saturday Evening Ghost" recorded by Peter Pan Orchestra in the early 1970s?
"Miller's Cave" recorded by various country artists, but how about the recording by jazz artist Louis Armstrong?

And now for a really obsure one:
"The Adler Sock" recorded by The Denims

Yes, I know, some of these were popular and charted. But today, they are rarely heard, and I bet few people have heard of them. Let me know if you have.

I love "Life At Begins At The Hop" and the more obscure "This Is Pop" from that period.
