I recently watched Kill Bill again, and this scene is my favorite in the movie. Larry Bishop just cracks me up in this scene:

from Hal Hartley's Trust (no vid, sorry)

Maria: Can you stop watching TV for a minute?
Matthew: No.
Maria: Why?
Matthew: Because. I had a bad day at work. I had to subvert my principles and kow-tow to an idiot. Television makes these daily sacrifices possible. Deadens the inner core of my being.
Maria: Let's move away then.
Matthew: They have television everywhere, there's no escape.

The closing scene of -Casablanca-, one of the ten greatest motion pictures ever made.

I have the impression that Kirk and Spock were homoerotically attracted to each other. Sort of like the Lone Ranger and Tonto.

Warning! Some of the vids may contain violence or naughty language, so be warned if you're offended by such.

Anywho, some of my favorite scenes are...

The alley scene from Collateral, a move so bad ass that it makes Tom Cruise convincing as a contract killer.

Warning, violent:

The take-off in -Flight of the Phoenix- (Jimmy Stewart version). It was wonderful.

Also that scene where the German plane designer (play by Hardy Krueger) takes umbrige when he is referred to as a toy plane designer. That was worth the price of the movie.

The drowning scene in The Abyss:

There'll be others, but that's the one I most recently watched.

Here's a nice bit from "Songs From the Second Floor"

One of the main characters (The man in the center of this shot) has just burned down his furniture store and is traveling home, covered in ash. Like "Stranger Than Paradise" every scene in this film is a single shot. I really like how at the end of this scene, it cuts to a new scene where the characters finish the song.

Dogville is an amazingly work of art and genius representation of the USA, its culture, its politics, its hypocrisy, its demonic bullying arrogance and its inevitable (thank God) end. Awesome movie! This clip is in two parts. The first is from the middle and the second from the end which is tied to the first.

i share shen long's fondness for 'sunshine'....such a great film with the best eva suits ever.

best scene is from 25th hour......the scene where monty hands doyle's leash to one friend and goads his other friend into beating him senseless so he will not enter prison as a' pretty boy'.
