I think the rule there is pretty much the same for everyone:
Love/consider others in the same ways we love/consider ourselves.
My wife does some things that can annoy me greatly where the same kinds of things from me do not seem to bother her at all. I have no more right to be annoyed than she, and each of us is expected to be accepting. So, I do my best to say nothing about most of the noises that come from her being alive and she does her best to just ignore it when I pass gas.
