Try meditating, seriously!

I'm not going to tell you how to do it, because everyone does it differently. There are some basic techniques, look it up online.
It will eventually put you in contact with the problem at let you encounter it and look at it from different perspectives. You will probably not even know you are dealing with it as you're meditating.

I also am very fascinated by views and sounds. I have started building a house near a lake, and I can sit and enjoy the view and the sounds of the waves for hours. Even if it starts raining all over me, I will just sit and enjoy!

Remember, the feeling of comfort or unease comes from within. We all get the same sensations from our eyes and ears, it's what we do with them afterwards that differs! Sounds simple enough but I know it's not, trust me.
Meditation has however helped me to come closer to this fascinating truth.

All these things regarding sound seem like a very nice gift. To find enjoyment just listening to the world around you -- what a great thing to experience and derive happiness from!

Jeff, you are describing some very serious symptoms. See a psychiatrist right away. If you are experiencing constant chest pain, you need immediate relief and treatment.
