Somehow I continue to make progress in the ceaseless fight against Snail Armageddon. Still, if I'd known how much British snails love American Giant sunflower shoots, and the sheer depth of their determination to get at them, I wouldn't have planted six.

I discovered a wonderful type of fiction called a drabble - basically, short-short stories (traditionally 100 words in length but I've seen them go from that, to a little over a thousand each). It gave me hope that maybe it really is possible to translate my daydreams to paper after all! :D

Getting invited to go to my brother's girlfriend's dance recital... This is the first time I've ever seen dancing live. I'm pretty excited. :)
