It makes me feel that maybe I'm not so strange after all. It helps that a lot of my interests are very common for women, although I do believe the intensity level is a lot higher. I am also comforted that a lot of people here have pets and, like me, that a lot of people's pets have lived very long lives.

Making tiffin and the chocolate seized, which normally causes a mini meltdown because it should not happen.
I didn't have a meltdown.
I made a solution of almond oil and rose water, steamed some chopped dates in it, then added it to the chocolate on the hob. With some persuasion, the seizing damage was undone.
+ now the kitchen smells like rose water.
+ the tiffin has a Middle Eastern vibe.
+ I didn't even flinch at my making a mistake.

And I had a nice morning at work. Yay.

I have no idea what my job is. I will however teach ski lessons.

Anonymizing NGOs before the UN lets anyone was a cool trick on someone's part, I blame Als Franken & Gore, respectively.

Where's an unmarked van when you need none?

I finished watching PSG today, and I was kind of disappointed by the ending.

BUT! It did have a very swanky soundtrack, and I've been grooving to it all day. 8)

Tennis lessons today and David Ferrer is in the semifinals in a tournament in Sweden. I hope he wins it. He hasn't been doing well for a while.

No just an intelligent, very experienced and informed patient with autism.

As for my good news, I finally figured out why I have been itching insanely for the last 8 months. Chronic Idiopathic Uriticaria and the treatment, Xolair a once a month injection which previously would have been unaffordable at $800+/month I've learned was just added to my province's public health plan on June 2017 which means I will get it for free and I meet all the limited use code criteria to qualify.

When I see this Allergist/Immunologist he can just show up, confirm what I already know, and then can just sit there and twiddle his thumbs because I will have just completely his job and all the useless doctors over the past how many years before he even has a chance to sit down.

One less problem in my BS ridden life. I also won two games of Bingo at the hospital beating out 20 other patients, fixed 2 patient's smart phones, and won a game of cards today. All accomplished while severely sleep deprived for the past 3 days, which is going to be fixed tonight as well with the Clonidine I smuggled into the psych ward will knock me out cold. :D

yeah sometimes you want them to interact with you.

sometimes you want them to leave you alone.

sometimes they act like they are morally innocent and "helping" you. but they are just bothering you.

as an autist, it takes a lot more energy for me to imagine a NT's perspective, than for an NT to imagine another NT's perspective. then when i guess how they will respond to something, i am wrong, more often than NTs are wrong about other NTs. then when they respond unfavorably, they sometimes respond more unfavorably then i ever imagined.

and when they respond favorably, it is like: whooptie do. then what? then the other party and i go holding hands skipping off, into the sunset?

seriously there is something wrong with everything.

the older i get the more i feel like precious lil "most people" are not worth the Cost Benefit Analysis it takes to interact with them.
