How do you be a good friend?
I'm having a lot of trouble with friendships. See, whenever I want to become closer to someone, and they just ignore me, I usually keep asking why they don't respond until I annoy the hell out of them. Then they either block me online, they snap and say they don't f***ing like me, they or just let me know that I'm "forcing a friendship" on them. Problem is, I don't realize I'm annoying people until it's too late. If they don't tell it to my face they don't want to be friends with me, then I don't know what they want. Please help--I've had this problem about 4 or 5 times already, and I don't want to go through it again because it's too painful. Should I continue to try to make friends, or should I just give up and go back to being a loner? And if I shouldn't give up, then how do I be a good friend without annoying the living crap out of people? Can anyone give me some suggestions?
Try taking a break from looking for friends. Just be your own person, don't force yourself on people, and they'll feel more comfortable around you.
