This was one of the top news in my area yesterday.
I hope that the baby will be ok.

Bag baby topic

I question the use of a bag, as sometimes terrorists use that tactic. I suppose baskets for laundry or those that float are passe.

Better than a dumpster, though. At least this mother had some common sense.

The revolving door mechanism would be a better option.

Hmmmmm. Can't help thinking about a SWAT team doing a controlled explosion of the bag.... Oops!

I agree, the use of a duffel bag was risky.

I didn't really think of that. It could have easily been a lot worse in the bag. Good thing though the the newborn baby girl cried. I hope she's ok. :( Thinking about as she grows up she is wondering why her mom abandoned her.

The mother probably didn't think that either. There's probably a good reason why the mother did what she did (I hope) and there are so many families that want to be parents desperately (and would be good parents), the baby will probably be ok. I know one of my Mum's cousins would have been a great mother but couldn't have children.
