The only person in my family who might join is my aunt, who has an Aspie son. It would be weird having relatives here.

I wouldn't mind referring my friends or family to WP. However, I don't think I'd want to tell them my username, even though I haven't said anything that I'm embarrassed about. I don't think I'd be able to really express myself if my family was on here and knew my username, and that would be unfortunate because there aren't many sites for and by people with autistic spectrum disorders that are as popular as WP. I think that one of the purposes of an online identity is to be able to escape from the "real" world, and not feel embarrassed about asking (or answering) certain questions.

I'd leave in an instant.

This is where I air myself out, and I don't really trust any of my relatives to respect my privacy. They've always been an exceptionally nosey bunch.

While she hasn't actually joined (that I know of), my wife is on here all the time.. it doesn't bother me, I have no secrets and often I'm able to express how I feel here better than face to face.. I love you babe!

I've spent way too much time on here (internet too). Our computer is in the same room as the T.V. and my wife watches satellite and I'm on the internet or You Tube.

Wrong planet( and internet) evokes jealousy, and I've toned it down. I make the internet an hour or two now.

She commented that "I act more like that." "That" is the word for autism  . I suppose it's 'a let your guard down' thingy thing. I say "suppose" because I personally don't see it, but she says there is a difference since I've joined here.

(I get carried away with any stuff; (these 'inertia's' of mine), and it doesn't matter what it is I'm doing; it's considered an obsession as from an outside p.o.v.)

I guess it would be okay but I would have to hold back a lot.

My dad can't figure out how to check his e-mail, my mom doesn't have a computer and my brother couldn't be bothered. So I guess I'm safe.

And, I don't know any of my cousins anyways, not the ones older than 12 anyway. Just my uncle Rick's kids, but I never see them anyway.

I wonder how many times husbands and wives or brothers and sisters meet on dating sites and hit on each other.

Imagine if some guy arranged to meet the girl of his dreams and it turned out to be his own daughter.

There was something like that in an ep of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Brother Carlton & sister Hilary were both using the same dating site & met each other at a restaurant
