Sometimes I feel like living in another time would have been easier..however since we women are very free and liberated in general these days, I am not eager to be transported to the days of pinafores..or those of hard drugs of the 1960s.

Yes, I wish I'd died before they invented world wide web.

I should have been born in 1945 in the United Kingdom, not 1990 in Australia. Seriously, what the f**k use is Australia? It's a useless place full of useless people. And what the f**k is 1990? What a sh***y sounding year. I wish I could be one of the ones to say "back in 69" or "back in 73". When I'm old all I'll have is "back in '11". What the f**k? Seriously.

It has some rather nice landscapes and native wildlife.
But I don't really like this country as well. I'd rather live in the UK. I have a soft spot for Wales.
As for me I'd like to go back to 1920s/1930s when we were just discovering more about the Universe. I'd actually like to go earlier than that, say 17th century. I'd like to live in a time when we were just figuring out the nature of the world.
I really really hate this online generation where people are constantly updating their statuses or trying to fit a witty phrase in 140 characters or less. I want to go back to a time when seeking knowledge was praised rather than shunned. As much as I love technology I hate that it has made some people lazy, both physically and mentally.

Sometimes I wish I was born earlier. I think life was better then and today it's worse. I don't like what life has become or how it's becoming. I look back and see how times were different then and it looked so much better.

But if I was born earlier, who knows what kind of person I'd be like. I wouldn't have known about AS and might not be this far because there be no internet for me to use to learn social skills and learn more about life and how people think. Maybe I would stay single longer unless I got lucky.

Yes. Screw the vast improvements when compared to the modern world - The 19th century world feels more like what should've been. Of course, given my family history, I'd probably be a dirt-poor Swedish farmer, rather than the more fitting British gentleman adventurer.

I wish I could have been born back in the days of hunter gatherers or maybe the days of Rome. Back then i'd imagine life to me much more relevant if that makes any sense. I feel like the things you do everyday back then had a direct and visible impact on your life unlike the complex lifestyles modern people live.

I think I will remain satisfied to be living in the current time, but:

I think it would be neat to live in the 1920s during the heyday of the daredevilish wooden roller coaster era.

And...I find the 1960s neat (I was born in the 1960s) because of the futuristic ideas they had then (space travel, space-like homes, futuristic cars, etc.). Today, we call the past's ideas for the future "Retrofuture."

I also found the 1970s to be very magical for me. I would be satisfied to live in the 1970s again. But, I wouldn't want to be away from the family I have now.

So...I will stay in the present time.

Yes, I feel like if I was born let's say, 300yrs back, then possibly I might have been able to stop some things from happening then again I'm sure I'd be seen as eccentric then as now..Not much else to add except, Some things will continue to remain a mystery until mankind finally comes up with the science to prove or disprove such phenomenon..

I wanna say I was born 300 years to early. But I'm here now, what the hell can you do... crawl back in to my mother vagina? I got to experience and follow the birth of video games,... so me and time we're cool. ~high fives time~

“Dreamer of dreams, born out of my due time,
Why should I strive to set the crooked straight?
Let it suffice me that my murmuring rhyme
Beats with light wing against the ivory gate,
Telling a tale not too importunate
To those who in the sleepy region stay,
Lulled by the singer of an empty day.”

--William Morris, Prologue of the Earthly Paradise, 22-28
