^Yeah, this idea that teenage boys always enjoy statutory rape is pretty widespread.

Doesn't matter if the kid gets physical pleasure out of statutory rape, or not. They're being taken advantage of, and likely being lied to, and at some point they're going to figure that out and it's going to twist their relationship with the opposite sex for the rest of their life.

I like my relationship with the opposite sex getting a little twist every now and then. I only wish I got twisted a little more often, but, that aside, I do OK for a married man with 3 kids. If my then-gf hadn't dropped the old "marry me now or else" bomb on me, I might have taken the time to do a little twisting with women 10 years or more older than me.

The worst I could see this going is that an older woman becomes another part of a teenage boy's highlight reel or he might holler out the wrong name at the worst possible time.

You're not clear at all. All that you are doing is making a blanket assertion, that a teenaged boy who has sexual relations with an adult woman is going to have twisted relationships with women for the rest of his life. You're unclear about what the "twist" is, whether the twist is good or bad (I suspect that you see it as bad), and how this twist occurs.

I said more than that when I made the initial assertion; I suggest that you go back and re-read my initial post.

What you are making the argument is partially that the psychological damage is due to upbringing.

However the examples you are using can easily be demolished.

The combination of the two means that wearing lots of clothing to begin with is not only impractical, but can be downright dangerous if one has to swim, not to mention the tropical heat and humidity...

So while you can make a case that the damage is due to cultural upbringing, that still doesn't change the fact that what LKL has said about children in Western Society is correct.
