Roger is currently number three in the ATP tennis rankings-behind Nadal and Murray!

On a more serious note, the attacks in Barcelona are very much on my mind. I'm not Spanish/Catalan, but I have a special interest in that part of the world. My heart goes out to the people of Barcelona today.

Somehow.

What is your function, best man?

Weddings, funerals, graduations. Long boring social rituals. I tend to steer clear of them

Did not even go to my junior high school graduation

Especially events involving dressing up and sitting still for hours. In large crowded rooms. While someone shares enlightening speeches

Those events make me feel awkward and left out

More than usual

Malala, the seventeen year old Nobel Prize winner, had a book written about her

Malala sounds brave, but you can't measure bravery

Malala is brave and I am cowardly

Everyone has good and bad traits

Someone could act brave at one minute and cowardly the next

Bravery does not always get rewarded

Infantrymen that sacrifice their lives for their country do not all get rewards

And what is so great about a Purple Heart? Some infantrymen's heroic and courageous actions get them profound physical injuries. The injuries take a lot of time and pain to interact with

Dichotomous thinking

Precious lil"people" act like everything and everyone is either completely good or bad

Simple and easy

But nobody is completely good or completely bad

It is because it es easy to idolize someone that you like. Socially or romantically.

And it is easy to demonize someone you do not like

But it is also easy to like someone similar to you

And AS is in the minority

And LGBT is also the minority

So it is easy for the majority to misunderstand the minority

Especially when the majority has authority and power

Nothing to do

I am boring

I am bored

Almost everyone I have ever interacted with, I now find boring

Nothing anyone could do matters, significantly and long term

And even if it did matter it is not worth the energy

My mom keeps telling me that I did the right thing but I left my latest job after only one day. I couldn't handle it. It was a sensory nightmare and I ended up crying for hours after I got home. I feel bad about it. At least school starts in ten days.

Being autistic sometimes causes a lot of things to be "sensory nightmares".

Agoraphobia, loud noise, rough fabric from clothes, strong food tastes

It is so inconvenient to avoid sensory nightmares

And so many things can't be correctly predicted

And sometimes something that was not a sensory nightmare yesterday is a sensory nightmare today

People need to understand the limits of reductionism. Turn it on itself.

re-thought about our old friend, the organ-person, aha he's on the line, a very kind man
often he'd wanted to watch football(soccer) at our place because his wife wouldn't have that, sometimes we didn't wanted that also, as we don't watch that ourselves

Matt Fong made his mom. March Fong Eu do a commercial for him when he was running for senator

Even after the US Air Force Academy, a JD, an MBA, and working on the Equalization Board, Matt had no one better to cheer for Matt.

Same thing. The current counselor is the only one that, thus far acts like she values me or takes my side. But the insurance is paying the counselor 75 bucks an hour to interact with me

So she must be biased in my favor

Customer service

And not only that but maybe she is just humoring me

And I strongly doubt that that is what she really thinks about me

So

As usual there must be something profoundly wrong with me

But whatever

There is something wrong with everything

Feel nervous about re-starting my studies. Also concerned privately regarding my younger sibling: I can spot depression a mile off, though our relationship is such that after all he's done to me, it's damn hard to remain civil.
