True story.

A friend of mine lent a book to his neighbor. The guy brought it back all crinkled and weird looking.

My friend said "What the hell did you do to it?"

The guy said "I accidentally dropped it into the toilet so I put it in the clothes dryer"

you know it buddy! I can see the filth on them because they always have those plastic covers on. i can spot germs on library books from a mile away son!!

LOL, those are suppose to be dust jackets, not germ jackets.

It's DISGUSTING when there are foods particles/hair/smudges on the pages.And don't get me started on missing pages,torn out pieces,or pictures which have been cut out. People are so stupid!

Sometimes there are some additional items between the pages about which the previous person who borrowed the book forgot. Like a multiplication table. Or a photo of a pair of young people put between the pages.
