I probably should mention I spend most of every day stuck. The thing that usually pulls me away from the computer involves me getting stuck in an entirely different way.

I don't get stuck in stores too much lately because I am constantly overloaded and want to get everything done as fast as possible. Even bookstores are hard for me these days.

I used to get stuck in stores with indecision. I'd know what I wanted but I'd still have to look at all the other options to be sure.

I used to walk to the end of my parents' driveway and get stuck at the end. Which way to go, left or right? It made no difference, as it was just a walk. Apparently a particular kind of brain damage can render you unable to choose from two options. It was on the telly.

I never get stuck in stores because I always have a list with me and don't look at anything except the items written down. In unfamiliar stores I can take a long time simply because I have to find the items, of course.

There are only two things that are sure to get me "un-stuck"; the need for a cigarette and the need to go to the bathroom. Everything else has to wait.

I've been meaning to call my mom since yesterday, but every time I remembered I've just sat down and can't be bothered to reach for my cellphone, which is right next to my laptop.

I get stuck alot too. That's why some people don't like shopping with me, because I get distracted and take forever. If I decide that there was something specific at the store that I liked and regretted not buying, I have been fixated on obtaining it and can't stop thinking about it until I get it. My mom would get mad because I'd always get lost exploring in the store and they'd have to page me at the front registers and sometimes I still didn't hear them because I almost always have my headset on.
