Noticed it afterwards, since it wasn't even in the Random forum... is this some sort of compromise then?

I know not what the moderators think and I probably don't want to know what they think about a lot of things to be honest but I took this to be some kind of compromise yes.

I don't follow... I do not need to feel "manly" to be a man or confirm that fact, but I do like knifes, military clothes, hummer cars, and fixing stuff. What I like the most that can be considered "manly" is boxing.

i dont know what this is meant to be for, but i guess women have this so why cant we? maybe because a men only discussion is mostly considered sexist, but a women only conversation isnt, strange double standards

please, in the immediately near future, resolve to compose first in wordpad or whatever word processor app you got, and only THEN paste it into WP and post, so in the future I can read what you were thinking.

I was just gonna make a thread in the Women's Discussion forum asking "Where's the Men's Discussion forum?"

But I just found this little sliver of a sub forum here...

So much for equality.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

From Time Enough for Love. One of my favourite books :D

What other book contains a bullet point list with tips for life?

Who else but Lazarus Long could win epic space battles while wearing a kilt?
