I'm sure someone has posted something like this before but what are some songs you think are about AS or at least you can relate to as someone with it?

some of mine are:

How Soon Is Now- The Smiths
Nowhere Girl B-movie (sounds like about a girl with AS)
Outsider- Trish Murphy

Sure there is more but I can't think of right now.

I would say "I Am Not a Robot" by Marina and the Diamonds could be one.

I don't think it was written with AS in mind but I can certainly relate to a lot of it.

I like that song a lot. To me, it's the nicest of all the songs listed in this thread, so far.

I definitely agree with you on "People are Strange." In many respects, that is my theme song, and my answer for whenever someone does something odd, which tends to happen frequently.

Yes, especially the Smiths. I identify with a lot of Morrissey's lyrics about isolation and social dysfunction.

I'm sure Mozart was higher on the spectrum, to me his music reeks of autism not that autism reeks but you know what I mean, from the arrogant genius of pieces like Sonata in C K545 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcUh-ggBfzI yet he can't help going darker and more complex in parts

To the loneliness and dark anxiety in parts of the requiem - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFCjnpvT1VU
