One who denies any positive values or even the possibility of positive values. Nihilists tend to be dull company.

I (perhaps naively) believe that it is possible for humans to be just with and to one another. Not easy, mind you, but possible. If the material conditions of life were not too difficult and there were enough for all, then much of the either-or thinking that underlies unjust and nasty behavior could be avoided.
