I hate these self intros, but here goes anyway.
I am a diagnosed aspie, atheist, and science geek that moved from Texas to Connecticut and am still having a hard time building up any kind of social life up here. It's a relief to not be in Texas by the way. I've got my bachelors degree and now work as a cytogenetics technologist. I've been interested in genetics for a while so it's really interesting, although sometimes exhausting, to spend my day analyzing chromosomes.
Oh and before you ask, no, I don't think vaccines are the reason I have AS. That idea that vaccines are responsible for autism has been discredited so many times that it's nothing but a bat-sh** crazy conspiracy theory now and the only people who believe it are ones who can't be bothered to use their brain for anything more complex than writing a grocery list.
PS: if you know who my avatar is, you spend WAY too much time playing video games.
Where do you work? Not Dianon right? I work in the FISH automation industry and Dianon in Connecticut owns a bunch of our machines for cytogenetics.
