Now I don't want to start a flame war here as I know some people hate us alot... But is anyone else here a furry? I'm not asking for peoples opinions on it, just asking if any other aspies here are furs. Don't know what furries are? Ill explain it to you, just PM.

Furries are people who identify with animals to the point of dressing like one, real or fictional.

Yeah, I think you have it right. I once complained to someone about furries, because it seemed like no one was doing any art that wasn't furry art, and when I explained that to them, they said something like, "Ohhhhhhh, you just meant art. You have no idea, do you?"

I don't like the porn/sexual side of it. I just enjoy the art, writing and character creation. I know that stuff is common with furs, but I don't really see the appeal at all. I worry that people jump to conclusions based on the way some fans behave >.> Anyway, like I said I didn't want this to be about the adult side of things, if I wanted to talk about that I would have started the thread here. I wanted just to see how many aspies here are also furs xD

I'm not a furry...but I like you furries

My ex (who is ASD) is a furry (bunny), I miss him/her so furries remind me of him/her which makes me happy and therefore furries rock
