Fascination With Lights

Earlier in February I posted on this forum about research for my film about Lights.

The film was based upon me having Autism and my obsession of staring at lights for extended period of times. Now after researching I found I was not the only one who enjoyed this and the film is now finished.

I used to watch lava lamps. I love the way the bubbles chase each other to the top. Hours of entertainment there, I kid you not

This is like autism porn. I like lights, but there is one light that I actually feel in love with. Blue LED lights, when I see them I feel so overwhelmed with love and amazement I can't even explain it. I have a toaster that lights up with blue LEDs, it is so nice. Chrome and blue LED.

I get distracted in Video games when there are lots of lights and the Level have a cubemap "Engine command for Reflections".

As for the Video I am having trouble because my 3G is being Crappy today

Funny... the interest we find in that, other people take psychoactive drugs to find the same pleasure in them.

Long ago we had a 3DO game system - it was the best of the first generation multimedia systems back in the day. It not only played games but also music CD's! (yeah - i'm old...) Anyway - it had a sound feature. If you left the tv on while playing your Cd's on it it had this amazing sound activated light and pattern generator. It was like a little rave in your living room.

Hours I tell you... HOURS I lost.

We also had a gazillion channel equalizer with a huge sound level display. I'd watch that thing for hours too. Lights synched to music is instantly hypnotising.

I have a old Winamp plugin that has that this plugin you can't get anymore I may upload it to the web again.

Thanks, thats what I was going for, as during the research people seemed to have favourite videos they enjoyed to view for lights, and I wanted to create a video like that and I love watching it as it is mesmerizing. The autism community seem to be liking the video aswell, spread the word / video
