I watched Halt And Catch Fire last night.

It was confusing because I missed the 4 year time jump at the end of last season so it was an 8 year time jump for me. When it was set in the 80's at a small scruffy kind of punk/new wave company despite the soap opera elements it was nostalgic to a degree because I did programming at a similar type company at the time.
While the references to the early days of the World Wide Web in 1994 is interesting to me that is only a very small part of the show. The soap elements dominate. And now they are in a big office with business casual attire. The characters by the 90's are too old for the grunge and alternative rock going on then.
