Is anyone a huge fan of Disney movies? Do you know things like... the first Disney animated full length feature film was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs? It was released in 1937. It was the first use of motion capture, which is when you film the human body moving around and then draw cells over the film.

Anyways... my favorite Disney right now is the Lion King. I've also seen the musical in Vegas and the mini-musical in Disneyworld. I love the soundtrack. Especially the song Hakuna Matata.

Me and my family love Disney. I love their movies. But mostly only the animated ones. Wait, what live action movies have they made anyway? I think their animated movies are all pretty good.

I love Disney, too. I was fortunate enough to have grown up during the Disney Renaissance era. I remember going to see a lot of the movies released during that time in theaters.

When I was little, I think my favorite Disney movies were Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Sleeping Beauty. Now, I think my favorite would be Beauty and the Beast, but I haven't seen all of them, so that could be subject to change.

I used to have a collection of Disney movies on VHS which I had bought throughout my childhood. Unfortunately, my family was undergoing a sort of financial crisis and we had to sell them all to Half-Price Books. I've since started recollecting Disney movies on DVD, but I've been thinking that I'd like to buy them again on VHS, for nostalgia purposes.

I love disney, but I have to be honest, I love Pixar even more. Not one of their movies sucked(even Cars). Disney have had a few bad eggs but not many. Here are my top 10. I'm very positive about my top 5 but the lower 5 I'm not 100% on.
1) The Lion King (1994)
2) Aladdin (1992)
3) Beauty and the Beast (1991)
4) The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996)
5) Sleeping Beauty (1959)
6) Tangled (2010)
7) The Jungle Book (1967)
8) The Princess and the Frog (2009)
9) Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
10) 101 Dalmations (1961)

Please don't judge me for putting Tangled and The Princess and the Frog ahead of Snow White.

What is it about these movies that make them your preference over others?

Makes sense with your username. (But I guess you could just like meerkats but this is about Disney so I just figured.)

Timon the meerkat is the reason for my meerkat obsession as an adult. If I were a little kid, I'd probably be super obsessed with hedgehogs or kitsunes or something as an adult.

I'll watch some Disney movies, and a few of the Pixar ones as well. Disney has done some pretty good stuff in the past.

I love Disney films. Their live-action films are usually hit or miss, but their animated films are almost always watchable.

I enjoy the Alice in Wonderland movies, both the cartoon and the live-action/CGI one directed by Tim Burton. I also like the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. I'm currently waiting for On Stranger Tides to come out on DVD so I can watch it.

Yes, I enjoy the older films. (As in several decades old or more.)
I really detest The Lion King and all of its even worse sequels. 90s Disney is kind of irritating, except for the development of Pixar Films. Toy Story and its sequels are great, for instance. I also like the newer Disney Pixar films (Up, WALL-E, etc.)

What is it that you dislike about '90s Disney movies?
