My mom was reading a magazine article asking readers if they could be friends with any fictional character who would they choose. My mom asked me and suggested Sonic the hedghehog. I said I would befriend Timon...espicialy if I only had one choice. I know Sonic is technicaly older than Timon, but to me he is new. Even though he is just a "cartoon", Timon is alreadly like a friend to me. I had no friends as a kid and he was some sort of imaginary friend. My mom told me that Timon and I would probably get along quite well.

My second choice would have to be Sonic's friend and little brother figure, Tails the fox. My third choice I guess would be his girlfriend, Princess Sally.

Although not exactly a cartoon character, I would have to say Obi-Wan Kenobi. He is thoughtful, wise, calm, humble, and selfless. He is definitely the kind of person I want to be around. In my opinion he is a much better example of a hero than anyone else I can think of.

I'm not really much of a Sonic fan, but from what little I've seen of Tails, he definitely reminds me a lot of myself. I think we would really understand each other.

Daria. Although I'm sure I would annoy her by agreeing with pretty much everything she says. She'd condemn me as a mindless yes-man.

Daria Morgendorffer - favourite cartoon

Or maybe the forest god from Princess Mononoke?

Or Sophie Hatter from Howl's Moving Castle.

I forgot to add the penguins from the animated film Madagascar to the list. I always thought they were awesome.

Balto from the animated film of the same name. He was my favorite and longest-running imaginary friend when I was a child, so I would absolutely love it if I could be friends with him for real.

My second choice would be the cartoon version of Beetlejuice. I have always preferred him to the live-action version, because the cartoon Beetlejuice was more playful and mischievous rather than malevolent and perverted like the live-action version was. He also had a bunch of funny catchphrases and I loved that he did so much wordplay. Even though Beetlejuice was portrayed as being a disgusting prankster, I still loved him a lot and it would be so much fun being his friend (something Lydia could attest to!)

My third choice would be Hamtaro, because I was obsessed with him and his (girl)friend Bijou when I was 11 and watched his show religiously when it aired on Cartoon Network. I always felt jealous of his owner, Laura Haruna, for getting to own such an adorable hamster! Even though I'm not obsessed with Hamtaro anymore, I still think he is very cute and would love to be his friend. It would be even more awesome if I could be friends with Hamtaro at the same time as Balto, because I used to make up crossover fanfics about them back in the day and I still think they would make an awesome team!

Just pretend I said TV or movie character. I'd so be friends with Tails. Maybe I'd pick him over Timon. I don't know. Maybe Sonic's girlfriend, Sally.

Well if you get to pick more than one, I'm picking Timon, Tails, and then Princess Sally.
