I am a rather pedantic type who quietly grumbles to himself about every error of punctuation, grammar or spelling that I see, even though I make plenty of my own. I'd like this thread to be a place for general chat where we don't have to restrain ourselves from pointing out errors because of the usual concern for being courteous. Tear apart everything everyone says!
There's only one rule: don't take it personally. Oh wait, two rules: there's no smoking either.
This doesn't sound like it will be a very popular idea now that I think about it.

Are you trying to say that it would have been more popular if you hadn't stopped to think about it?
I really can't see how your thought patterns are likely to influence the popularity of this (or any) thread.
Oh, and by the way: I think you should have included a comma after the word "idea."
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong (but you won't be able to, because I'm right).

"kk:" again, this is nonsensical.
"^^" I am stumped.
What is this person trying to say? And, more importantly, what language are they using to try and say it in? Could this be an extraterrestrial language we are dealing with?
