Here is what I am eating this evening:

(Click the image to view full sized photo.)

Image

Cooked quinoa seeds, which is sort of like extra-nutritious rice; stir fried carrot, bell pepper, broccoli, purple cabbage, zucchini cooked with olive oil and garlic flakes; tofu scramble with lots of different spices, ground black pepper, crushed seaweed, and tamari (soya sauce without wheat).

Post your latest meal and its story, whether it was made yourself or take-out or whatever! If lots of people post, then maybe this thread can give people meal ideas, or just make them hungry browsing the pictures. :P

That looks so good. I want some.

I don't have a camera handy but had to comment on your meal. I am munching on some almonds. I need a real meal. :(

I mixed the tofu scramble with the quinoa, tasted good together. Almonds are yummy, too!

I will post a few more pictures of some meals I've had during the past couple months.

I get an error if I try to post more than one image per posting, so I'll just post a few times.

Stew with potatoes, carrots, other vegetables, lots of spices and chickpeas; fried rice with turmeric, spices, granulated garlic and bell pepper; salad with sprouts, lettuce, kale or another dark green, cherry tomatoes and dressing.

Well, I thought the Russian reference was quite appropriate... but it is definitely easier to laugh when one has a full belly, than when running on empty.

If you're in my area, I would invite you over for something to eat, if you're hungry. :)

Damn Raven, if those taste half as good as they look, you should consider opening your own place up. :)

I am now munching on tortilla chips.
