What do cows drink?

Well, obviously not soda...

I immediately thought water. Milk did not even enter my mind until I seen the choices. Then I thought "Why would cows drink milk" then I remembered that milk comes from cows. I drink almond milk so I don't relate milk to cows.

I first thought water. Then I thought, "what a stupid question" . I've done a lot of work with cows which made me think maybe (since most people haven't worked worked with cows) they guess milk. *shrug*

The word "cow" tastes of chocolate milk.

But my first thought after the taste was "water".

I knew the answer was water but I chose milk. Because they do drink it as babies! So milk is correct too! :p

When I was in school, this joke would come up a lot, but with a prior addition. It would typically go like this:

You'd ask your 'victim'
"What colour is a refrigerator?"
And they'd answer 'white'.
"What colour is a washing machine?"
And they'd again answer 'white'.
"What colour is a clothes dryer?"
And they'd once more answer 'white'.

THEN, you would switch to the question "What does a cow drink?"
And because their mind was still focused on the colour white, they'd be inclined to think of a white beverage, and answer milk.

Like others mentioned before, it's quite a fascinating experiment of association.

Cows drink water they merely make milk same as many other female mammal who makes milk due to mammary glands!

I'm not sure, but he may be one of the site members who has committed suicide, so digging up old threads (necro) and exposing such posts can be upsetting for people who knew him.

I think they get all the water they need from the grass they eat.
