i took a turkey baster to the actual coolant supply in the radiator, and thankfully there weren't any flakes floating around in there. the coolant in both areas was however...a translucent rusty brown, which does not seem very good regardless of whether the stuff was bright green or orange when new.

that i don't know. the manual doesn't say which color is better, as long as it has (specific chemical mix)

flushing it might happen soon. i'd need to buy ramps to access the second coolant drain petcock under the engine block, way back near the firewall. that's 60 dollars right there. lots of distilled water and a chemical flush, maybe.

Today I will have no free time just like yesterday and on top of that I will have one hour of time between work and school to do two hours worth of homework. :(

Ended up doing literally nothing but chores and errands all day and having no free time. :?

I keep falling asleep because I'm tired. :(
