I just finished rereading a book I read as a kid, Julie and the Wolves. I had forgotten a lot, including Amaroq's fate

Had my eye on this one for a while. :) The cover is this wonderful felt which is quite awesome in itself. The book manages to combine some relevant and interesting science behind various minerals and aggregates while keeping the reader involved with the history behind human usage of precious natural materials, including world-famous jewels.
