Smells that make you sick

apart from the obviously offensive smells like "hydrogen sulphide" and "putrefactive bacteria exudate" (associated with rotting corpses), and methyl mercaptan (another exceptionally unwelcome component of a "filthy fart" aroma), i must say that i am sickened by the smell of babies.

babies smell (in my opinion) like many extremely unpleasant things mixed together, but only to a mild degree.
they smell like vomit and poo and dried up milk in a most nauseating way.
i will immediately hand a baby back to who gives it to me with my face turned to the side so i can breathe fresher air.

Rubber cement and nail polish remover give me instant headaches. I absolutely hate getting any smell on my hands that can't easily be removed. Gasoline or kerosene are the worst. Besides that I'm not bothered by many smells. I actually enjoy the smell of skunk and certain types of cigarettes.

Pine-scented candles. They make me gag. Real pine trees are lovely though.

I used to make deliveries to the borders bookstore at the mall, their dock was right next to the mall dumpster, that thing smelled so unbearable I wanted to vomit in an instant.

The smell of seafood makes me want to hurl as well.

As a baby I used to vomit whenever I smelled fried food. It rotted my teeth and they had to be taken out.

Many many things make me feel either sick, headachey or chokey.

And I recently bought a parasaurolophus model that stinks very bad of rubber / manure / B.O (MONKEY's mum says it smells like Rhubarb leaves too), but I still love it. (The model, not the smell).

The "aroma" of liver cooking is enough to make me leave the house and drive out of the neighborhood.

In gradeschool I puked a couple times after smelling puke or poop, having kids toughened me up.
Forgotten clams in the garage fridge are rough, and my dog has found some nasty smelling things to roll in at the beach.

Smoke makes my stomach flop and my throat clench.

Tuna makes my stomach turn.

Lemon-pepper (mostly folks like this for baking lemon-pepper chicken) is almost enough to make me throw up on the spot, as is most perfume.

Other smells with the opposite effect... I love the smell of people. Not perfume or other chemical stuff, just the smell of skin and hair. My husband thinks I'm funny that when he's fresh in from outdoors, how I like to smell him (now, stale sweat is gross, but, fresh sweat just smells like him, and I'm quite fond of the way that he smells).
