Taking the picture that was old, of a fishing scene that I'm familiar with in reality, and finding a frame to use and then actually fitting the pic in the frame that I hadn't put up for years. It saved me from getting wallpaper, the best are murals, but I don't have a wall for that or the cutting materials.

Yesterday, I thought I would actually get a lot done and I was right, but one of the things I went out for, didn't go down too well.. so I walked on, to stop creating gloomy thoughts, and I ended up in this charity shop that was closing down. Some of the things were too good to throw away, and the people there were obviously doing a good deed.
That's when I said, "I'll take the picture," I didn't mind lugging it around with me for a while, and I knew I could scrap the frame later and replace it with my own.

I can be the king of flat affect so if no one I like is around or if I am on the bus or in some other stressful situation I am always in neutral. Showing human like qualities is a very energy intensive thing for me so I don't waste my normal act for people and in places that don't serve my survival interests. When I am alone or in places where my goal is to survive until I get home I switch my systems to neutral to conserve my energy. Being autistic leaves me neutral most of the time because; neutral is my most efficient mode. I thought most autistic people used neutral mode as a rest between having to act normal for the NT's.

Right, so I should be more than just neutral about this, but I was hunting around in John Lewis for a laptop seeing as I get a guarantee for all parts labour and tech support on the care plan for two years, so I browsed around the shop for a while and finally tracked down a sales guy, who was really informative in answer to my bewildering questions about all this new logging on stuff.
I couldn't have asked for a better cheap deal from a store who were totally useless in retrospect, and still are in technospect. I paid £95, for a used item, but I did have my previous one for six and a half years.

My mom surprised me with a visit to my great-grandparent's graves as she was giving me a ride home today. I've learned to deal with her spontaneous nature over the years, and I'm not sure if I should feel something other than neutral about it, but that's how I feel about it.

Also, I had never been there before and I don't know much of anything about that side of the family.
