You know, I used to do daily gratitudes. I wonder why I stopped?

Anyway, I'm grateful for life itself. The good and the bad. To many, this may seem like a strange thing to say but experience has taught me that one sees the light brightest when in darkness.

My family (fur and skin - my friends are considered family too)

My home (and those who help me keep it)

I've lost three loved ones in these past two months... I'm blessed to have known them and feel them around me still.

My health and the strength to keep breathing each day to keep care of my loved ones.

I'm grateful that for some reason life can't seem to beat hope and optimism for the future out of me, even when circumstances get really rough.

I'm grateful for some "normal" people who see i am "very strange" but continue to stay open to me and welcome me. Because I realise that "normal" people consider it as a "social risk" when they continue to speak and act with me "normally" despite the fact i am some kind of disabled person. And thanks to those (rare) people i can continue to try and understand more, and i don't feel judged or guilty. So i am grateful for their efforts.

So cool that someone decided to necro this thread and I could see what I wrote 5 years ago, as a reminder. Last couple of weeks have been kind of rough for me and it was good for me to see this again. :)

I'm grateful for my loving family and friends that I have, I'm grateful for my talents/skills such as singing, acting, and writing (songs and stories), I'm grateful that I have my own computer and phone, I'm grateful for the pets my family has, and I'm also grateful that I'll get to see some of my friends this coming April at the Midwest Media Expo.
