they certainly are collectors items. just for the auction value really. the aztec will probably take a lot longer to become extremely rare.

its GM stablemate the Buick Rendezvous was considerably more handsome as well as more comfortable inside, and smoother-riding. so as a result the Aztec only lasted a little while but the Rendezvous lasted most of a decade.

can't be bothered googling the Rendezvou.

here is a mercedes 560 SEL going very fast on the autobahn.
sorry aunt blabby, i know that speed is not your requirement, but it's worth a look.
i had an identical one.

Around here you cannot drive ten feet without hitting a pothole.

like subaru, but would prefer two as one ideal car. one for practicality, presentability, and fuel efficiency in town, like a five door impreza, and something more adventurous for getting dirty on holiday like a wrx sti. if only to choose one, would choose the impreza.

If it's driverless and doesn't need to run on gasoline, I won't really care what it looks like. As if there's ever going to be an actual car like that in my lifetime at least.

The ugliest car I've ever seen is the Scion. It looks like a box on wheels.

the first gen XB's looks are polarizing, but for its size it's incredibly practical.

you can fit a whole washing machine in there.

scion as a whole was a flop of a brand, but especially towards the end they had some really neat cars.

i'd love to get my hands on a 1998-2000 sc400 or a volvo 900 series wagon (or 700 series in great condition). preferably in manual; i'd like to be able to get the most out of the engine in case they happen to be particularly gutless.

perhaps even a pre-1993 saab 900 turbo...but parts for those are quite hard to find and there aren't very many people around here who know how to work on them.

but god are they beautiful.

it's such a shame americans hate wagons. we don't know what we're missing.

on the topic of ugly cars, not much beats the fiat multipla - inside and out.

the barren tesla model 3 dashboard is also quite unfortunate:

it appears they were going for swedish-inspired minimalism but instead managed to evoke "soulless particle board office desk in cubicle"

That's hilarious. You nailed the Tesla, and I can't imagine the committee who approved the Multipla. It's a good car for people who lose their cars in parking lots. They can just follow the sound of people mocking it and laughing.

I like my Saab wagon a lot, but yeah. Finding someone to work on it can be a hassle. I went to a highly-rated shop right after I got it. Snap-On no longer has it in their diagnostic tool. The mechanic gave me a blank look and could do absolutely nothing about my headlight leveling sensor issue. They wouldn't look at it after that. I called a bunch more shops, to no avail.

A specialist within 60 miles was eventually located on a Saab owners forum.

Ugliest: a Ssangyong Actyon, BMW X4, Merc GLE Coupe and any other type of SUV that has that 'fastback' looking behind.
