Yep! If I like something, I find myself tending to stick with it. Sometimes it is a song, occasionally a connected group of songs, such as from an E.P. On an 80's trip right now, veering between Kazjurol and Voivod. It's merciless insanity

Only everyday of my life. In fact, I'm doing it right now. I'm listening to Cindy Lou's version of Where are you christmas? on my iPhone right now. I'm listening to it to help inspire me for the story I'm writing.

I always have songs constantly on repeat for months when i am at my work. I never get bored of it.. the daydreaming is always fantastic

I usually put a song on repeat when I'm stressed or trying to make myself fall asleep.

Drove my college roommate crazy. I still remember an all-nighter where I put on Boston's "Third Stage" around 11pm and started writing a paper due the next day. Put it on repeat and didn't listen to anything else until I finished around 6:30am the next morning.

I really like Worlock by Skinny Puppy. I highly suggest you avoid their official video for it if you dislike horror and gore. It's clips of parts of horror films that were cut out in the UK.

The other thing I like is songs that are very repetitious. For example, 2 Stars Of The Lid songs called "Down" and "The Artificial Pine Arch Song".

We were learning this in Psychology class. I forget the specifics, but I can relate: My mom played a song when I was in her womb, and now I get nervous breakdowns listening to that exact song. It was "Changes" by David Bowie, which was also played in Shrek 2.

Yes, there has been various times over the years where I would listen to the same song(s) multiple times..

It's the best part of being an audio engineer. You get to listen to the same song over and over again for hours while making progressively-smaller adjustments until it sounds perfect. It's not uncommon for me to spend about 10 hours mixing a 3 minute song.

If it's one of my own songs, I'll spend about 20 minutes mixing it and then 3 hours listening to the finished mix over and over again.

I went through a one-month long stretch during my commute I put this song on repeat:

I definently play the same songs over and over again, especially when I am bored, and the song brings pleasant memories. I will play particular parts of the song to reach the climax of my reward system.

Oh yes! For example, yesterday I listened to the same song for several hours. It was around three minutes long.
