The reason people can't discribe what water tastes like...

Water is pretty much the base of all life. There is nothing else like it and nothing to really compare it to. It is its own thing. Coke and Pepic and be called simarler but there isnt any thing you and compare water to. And if there is nothing else like it and nothing to compare it to then it would be hard to describe what it tates like.

People don't describe how water taste because water is naturally flavorless

Some water taste like metal,chlorine,acid,pollution,chemicals or plastic. :(

Water doesn't taste of anything because it doesn't need to. Taste evolved for a purpose.

There are actually people who's job it is to taste water, because water in different areas tastes different due to the different filtering methods and sources used. In fact, I am sure we have all drunk water from the tap and realised it tastes different to bottled water, so since we now have this comparison, we can describe one type of water as having more of a metal taste to it, for example.

Water is delicious! It's usually filled with delicious MINERAL IONS! That's right! You're ingesting something that has a half life! How awesome is that?! Although my area has a lot of really old, lead pipes, so a lil lead oxide can sometimes get in there, and that's not cool, 'cus it'll blind and poison you. Y'know, unless you buy and drink laboratory grade distilled water that is utterly flavourless...only a crazy person would do that...
