I remember my International Relations teacher telling us that his favorite word is "exacerbation". We use that word when a person has another flare-up of COPD. Kinda sounds similar to another word, but I won't go there. 8O

i also like the sound of the word "power" because i can say it like an evil villain. "hmmm...power"
dr smith in the old lost in space series said the word "power"in the most hysterically funny pompously evil way.
the expression on his face as he said it was the epitome of snobbery.

Autonomy.

I don't know why, but it sounds so cool, and.. futuristic. It's just fun to say.

I also like the word "whoogle", which means "to ripple in a jelly-ish fashion"-- but that's just a word I invented.

Drydock

When I was 8 or 9, I was obsessed with ferries and I found out that a BC ferry had a huge crash at a drydock and became obsessed with this incident.

A few weeks ago, I was visiting relatives in England we were going to have tea in a seaside town. On the way, one of them asked where his friends boat was. The other said "I think it's in drydock", due to my obsession with drydock as a child, the fact that it was said in an English accent and the fact that I was overtired, I laughed hysterically.

Of course, they didn't understand why.
