If "they" do change the DSM criteria for Autism, will those of us who presently have the diagnosis now suddenly be "cured"?
Further, if they remove Aspergers all together, then who's gonna' be waving a majic wand and fix my life?

Not a dumb question, obviously. All Aspies should be following news on the DSM update very closely. It could mean radical changes to your life.

Changes to the DSM are not retroactive...meaning if you were already diagnosed with AS, then that will not change, but if you have not been diagnosed, the changes will apply.
