There has been interest in London, but what has happened is people fail to commit becuase many are waiting for one or other to commit then put their shoe in the last movement, then it basically fall through becuase of indecisiveness. The most successful one it organized there was a clear plan of action with a couple of meet up times and locations, maps, etc.

I also used some skills I have to make people more aware it was on. But that is dependent on how much time I have to dedicate on it, which is much less these days.

I've been wanting to get a Meetup group on here focusing on the Albany, NY area -- there already is one, but it's more Saratoga/Lake George-centric -- but just havent found the time, though I still have the interest.

I attended an AA meeting a few months ago and I've been sober ever since. Things were headed in the right direction until I realized my so called addiction was a way of self-medicating, autism perhaps. And I wouldn't doubt it if a good handful of the attendees are on the spectrum. I never stick around long enough to get to know the people in the group so I wouldn't know for sure.

I thought I would ask if there were adult Aspies in the southern Saskatchewan area that would like to meet up.

Another one for Manchester here, I'm actually in Derbyshire but only half an hour from Manchester so town is good for me.

I live near London and would love a meet up to take place. I have only fairly recently discovered that I have autism and would really like to meet and talk to others like me. I don't know what would be involved in arranging a meet up but I would be happy to help or organize it if I had some tips!

Here I am! Maine. It seems there isn't really anything for us here in northern New England. :? :?

I've been thinking about setting up an meetup club... They'd be an small fee to pay to cover costs... Not sure if I would get enough people coming and interested.
