Hulk > Army.
Hulk + Iron Man + Thor + Captain America + An army of bad guys = Pur Awsomenes.

By the time the Hulk wiped out an army wouldn't the army have finished wiping out the planet?

Who's stronger do you think, Thor or the Hulk?

Does anyone know if the Hulk and Thor have ever fought each other before?

^^^ You called?

Quote:
After a prolonged battle, Hulk/Loki attempts to pick up Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, which is enchanted with a spell that renders it usable only to those it deems worthy. Amora warns Loki that he can not wield Mjolnir, and has to stop before he is no longer in control of the Hulk. Loki, of course, does not listen and continues to attempt to lift the hammer via the Hulk's unimaginable strength. Mjolnir flies to Thor, who uses his powers to separate Loki from the Hulk. It works, but this proves to be a huge mistake. Without Banner's personality or Loki's control, the Hulk is an unstoppable living incarnation of pure rage, and he beats Thor nearly to death.

According to Marvel lore, the more enraged Hulk becomes the more powerful and invulnerable he becomes. Bruce Banner's conscious/unconscious restraint is the only thing that keeps him in check.

I'm pretty sure Banner/Hulk and Thor traded blows in in Ultimates too (that was Ultimates vs Hulk though).

Over the years they've fought one on one a few times in the (mainstream) comics... more or less to a draw most times. Most people would claim that the fights were only draws because Thor did not want to hurt Banner.

If the Hulk had nearly beaten Thor to death, while all the other confrontations had ended in draws - despite the possibility that Thor had held back - tells me the score is still:

Hulk = 1
Thor = 0

And until Marvel chooses to have Thor someday kick the Hulk's ass, I think Hulk still beats Thor.

I read an interview some time ago that said Thor was imagined specifically because they wanted someone who was stronger than Hulk, so Stan Lee (or was it Jack Kirby?) said "A god would be stronger."
