FreeBSD does a pretty good job of Linux compatibility. I am running a 64bit build of FreeBSD, and I use adobe flash in a 32bit Linux compatibility layer with a native 64bit FreeBSD build of Firefox and adobe flash runs extremely well.

OS X is derived from BSD and its various flavours, as the kernel uses bits of FreeBSD, NetBSD and Mach 3 (which is also derived from BSD). You can't run OS X binaries on FreeBSD because OS X and FreeBSD utilise different binary formats, OS X utilises Mach-O and FreeBSD utilises ELF.
