Meh.

I can eat chocolate any day. All the frilly pink stuff perplexes me. What is it about frilly pink plastic that is so enticing to so many people? :?

In that case, I wouldn't want to get on your bad side 8O

Ahhh, if I want to celebrate my love, i'll do it on my own time, not when some silly holiday dictates.
I'm not indifferent, more amused by it. I do like to look at the over-the-top slushie gifts on sale, and any excuse for chocolate!

+1 on that one

I think that it's somewhat idiotic to force love in that matter. What you do on Valentine's can be done every other 364 days of the year, on any date...
Essentially it's just a forced date for me...

and yes, mmmm, chocolate :D

When I was a little kid I got excited. We'd get to create our valentine boxes, I love to create things so that was fun to me and then there was the candy. It didn't really mean anything romantic, just a tradition. Now as an adult, I'm indifferent. I see it as just a holiday for couples and kids and a reason to go out shopping. My family on the other hand loves to decorate my birthday in a valentine theme since the holiday is somewhat near my bday but that's another story..

No, anyone who is posting here simply isn't indifferent to this thread.

I despise of this holiday, nothing but a farce. As young children it didn't matter as you could love whoever as they didn't mind but after that your on your own... I'd substitute Valentine's Day for Self Respect Day. Now that is a holiday to celebrate.

I can't think of a better holiday. You don't need family, you don't need a partner....it's brilliant!

I think Beer and Grilled Goat's Cheese Day would be better.

You could do that too. Self Respect Day= Getting drunk, eating all the food you want, not going to work. Just one of those days where you spoil yourself like a gluttonous roman. Too bad you'd probably have to pay for it... :?

Whats the point if you do that for half the week anyway? Can anyone say "Busman's Holiday"?

I couldn't give a crap about the holiday itself but I do enjoy buying chocolate for myself or getting handouts from my friends. My name is Einfari and I'm a chocoholic.
