Well, decided to check out the NASA site since I haven't been on there in a while. Found an interesting article on how the winter is warmer with hardly any snow for some areas, yet alaska and certain other areas are getting hammered much harder than usual. Seems that people learn new things about weather and climate patterns every day. Thoughts?

As for my opinion, it doesn't confirm nor debunk human caused climate change. I do however feel it highlights my belief that there are cycles people don't understand that should be looked into more.

I think all the people that profited off of snow shoveling are thinking about moving. Just think about how hard that has hit the working class. I've seen people that used to shovel snow in the dead of winter start to mow the lawn instead.

Yeah I know what you mean. A sort of positive is the whole townships saving money on snow removal (which is a big money savings up where I live). Less state funds getting used up, which means a more than likely guaranteed increase in state employee salaries... Snow removal and repairs from snow tend to take up a HUGE portion of Pennsylvania's budget.

As for me personally, I can really care less about snow. I dislike it and it keeps me indoors along with the cold air (I refuse to exercise in the cold, huge sensitivity to it, but family chose to live here so meh. :/)

Yeah, usually we have winters that average 10F, and by this time we usually have like 5+ Feet of snow already. Instead, we only had about an inch of accumulation, an assload of rain, and temps that average in the 40s

Well the flowers are blooming in January here so far I picked Narsistus, and dafodils as they bloomed from January to Febuary... 8O
This LaNina has been weird from the get go.
Accuweather predicted that the lakes region will get hammered with snow, then when the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles got hammered in December instead....Accuweather had to explain what went wrong in their forecast. Apparently there has been a lack of a "Greenland block" (whatever that is) forcing Jet streams far south...then the block redevelops stronger than expected forcing jet streams much further north. However the lakes region did get some snow, but not "the Worst of Winter" as they predicted

Accuweather has been getting pretty insulted by its readers lately...

Its a very strange winter here. It was well below -10 to even -20-30 ranges in the past two weeks; last night, it snowed ice crystals; and today it rained and was +7. Every winter gets weirder and weirder

I have no idea. I think its been floating around my hd for several years now. Where I originally found it is a mystery too.
