Nope. I could not become NT. Becoming NT, I would not be me, but would be someone else, so even if it could be done, it would be someone else, not me.

Yes I would. IN a heartbeat. If things were going differently for me, then I would have to consider the possible downsides, but the way the darkness is consuming me right now, Yes.

What people here have to realize is that aspies I think are already half NT, but also half autistic. That is just my opinion, and you are free to disagree.

I can relate to alot of NT things, but at the same time I can;t. I can socialize like an NT sometimes (or at least I think I can), and then other times I can't. A no-man's land.

I really wish I had the ability to socialize and make friends

As far as other organs are concerned, you are correct that changes might be undone by your DNA as cells die off and are replaced by new cells. One would have to use a genetically tailored retrovirus that "infects" a wide range of cells and alters their DNA, and pray that this doesn't trigger an immune response.

But brain cells last for a lifetime (or until senile dementia sets in). There is very little adult neurogenesis after age 25, at which point the brain is fully developed. For the most part, you only make new synaptic connections from that point on, but your neurons remain the same. So if the adult brain was altered by the introduction of stem cells that differentiate into new neurons that establish a better link between the frontal lobe and the rest of the brain, I think this would also be a lasting change.

No, I love my unique and eccentric thinking and I'm valued for it and people have said they'd love to see through my eyes. I love my creativity and curiosity. NT life seems so stressful and boring.
