That is a reason why I do it.
For example going to the autism-center to my therapist the building has this echo-ing floor and no carpets and I do toe-walking entering it because of the noise from my own heels touching the floor.

Yes! I'm the toe walk queen, I feel more sure footed, don't now why.
Everyone sounds like herd of horses 'walking normally' I like that I can be stealthy.

I do however walk flat footed in shoes...most of the time and surprisingly, I can rock a pair killer heels which I attribute to toe walking

I don't normally, but there are a couple of situations where I do. They are going up steps, when I'm trying to walk quietly as to not wake someone up, and if I'm dancing around especially when I'm bouncing to a song. I do like the feeling of being on my toes in those situations though.

I often toe-walk, especially when using the stairs. Perhaps this is the reason my calfs are so unnaturally muscular.

Yes, I like it.

Something wrong with that?

I just love super light, barefoot-like shoes (for example FiveFingers, TrueGlove) - and toe-walking is only proper way to use 'em (if try heel-walking in such shoes, you'll hurt yourself)

I like walking on my toes sometimes, naturally I walk on the outside of my feet, though.

I sometimes catch myself walking on my toes without realizing it, usually when I'm excited or upset or something, or going up the stairs. I also tend to walk or stand on the outside edges of my feet, especially when wearing shoes.

Yes. And it feels even better barefoot.

Both of my kids toe walk when barefooted. My daughter sometimes does it with shoes on, too. I asked her why and she said "it feels better." She toe walked a lot when she was a toddler.

I just had a total MY PEOPLE moment over this. I walk on my toes automatically when I feel like I should be walking more quietly, which is always. I pride myself on/can't help trying to be like a ninja. My natural inclination is to be quiet and agile, both of which toe walking facilitates.

I never thought about my quick competence with heels being related, but I suppose it may be. I'll have to try to be conscious of it next time I wear some.
