Constantaly thirsty?
See a gp.
I said in my original post that I had been tested for diabetes multiple times and they always came back negative. If any kind of test involves a urinary cathader, I will refuse. I had one put in after my hystorectomy and it was the most painful expirence of my life. I'd rather die than go through that again.
diabetes insipidus is something COMPLITELY different than the "sugar diabetes". Those two conditions are not even related to each other and the only symptoms they share is exsessive thirst and exsessive pee. And if you have diabetes insipidus than normal sugar diabetes tests are negative, because those conditions are NOT related.
I'm getting checked for diabetes insipidus too and I've the feeling that it's more common in autistics AND that it's underdiagnosed in general.

I have The same so I counted everything I drank an entire day was like 4 liters of water.
Tomorrow you will count every drop of water you drink. Then you have some information to go on. Then see doctor take blood test.
Mine was fine. If you eat very healthy like vegetables and such body needs more water. Basicly the more fiber dense food the more water is needed.

You've test especially for diabetes insipidus, otherwise you wouldn't find it.
It's totally underdiagnosed and normal doctors don't even consider it or test for it.

I have the same probleem but not nearly to that extent. I also have been tested for diabeties and it came back negative. Perhapse its hyperglocemia. Sorry to hear you went through all that.
There are medications that will make the mouth Less dry. ... maybe try one of those?

I used to have the same problem during my teenage years. I'd carry a water bottle with me everywhere I went. The teachers didn't mind most of the time and my doctor actually commended me when I saw him for a cold because he said I should be drinking a lot of water when I've got a cold anyway. Then was I was 18 I got diagnosed as prediabetic. I switched to diet soft drinks and learned to like coffee without any sugar and my insulin resistance levels went back to normal. I don't have this problem to the extent that I used to but I still like to keep a glass of water on my desk at the office. Only now do I realise the connection between thirst and diabetes.

Good idea to keep track of how much your drink over a periode. Sometimes it can feel like a lot more than it really is.
Write down how much you drink, what you drink and how much you pee (measuring container) and also the exact time to it and do this for at least three days. (This is what my doctor toled me to do and is standart to do for test for diabetes insepides and conditions with similar symptoms.)
I would ask your doctor to test for diabetes insepides.
I've met more autistics than you would expect by chance, with symptoms of diabetes insepides.
By the way the part of the brain that produces ADH (also called Vasopressin), the hormone that's lacking in diabetes insepides, is the same part of the brain that also produces oxytocine who is very often lacking in autistics:
"The posterior pituitary (or neurohypophysis) comprises the posterior lobe of the pituitary gland and is part of the endocrine system. Despite its name, the posterior pituitary gland is not a gland, per se; rather, it is largely a collection of axonal projections from the hypothalamus that terminate behind the anterior pituitary gland. It is where neurohypophysial hormones are stored and released."
