We're a pretty arrogant crowd,we creatures who call ourselves human, and we can't afford to go around splitting ourselves into antagonistic minorities.Yes,I know we've been doing it a long, long time, and we have survived. Now and then, however,we have reduced such suicidal nonsense to a minimum for a brief period and we have profited amazingly in such interludes.Won't we ever learn?

An Elderly Indiana Farmer's Best Advice

1 Don't corner somethin' you know is meaner'n you.
2 Lettin' the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier than puttin' it back in.
3 Most of the stuff that people worry about ain't gonna happen anyway.
4 Timin' has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.
5 Life is simpler when you plow around the stump.
6 Remember that silence is often the best answer.
7 Words that soak into your ears are whispered...not yelled.
8 Always drink upstream from the herd.
9 The biggest troublemaker you'll probably ever have to deal with watches you from the mirror every mornin'.
10 Don't interfere with somethin' that ain't botherin' you none.

Our comforting conviction that the world makes sense rests on a secure foundation: our almost unlimited ability to ignore our ignorance.

The Rules For Being Human

1. You will receive a body.
You may like it or hate it,but it will be yours for the entire period of this time around.
2. You will learn lessons.
You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called Life. Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant and stupid.
3. There are no mistakes, only lessons.
Growth is an experiment of trial and error:Experimentation. The failed experiments are as much a part of the process of the experiment that ultimately "works."
4. A lesson is repeated till learned.
A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it.When you have learned it,you can go on to the next lesson.
5. Learning does not end.
There is no part of life that does not have it's lessons. If you are alive, there are lessons to be learned.
6. "There" is no better than"here."
When your "there" has become a "here," you will simply obtain another "there" that will again look better than "here."
7. Others are merely mirrors of you.
You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects something you love or hate about yourself.
8. What you make of your life is up to you.
You have all the tools and resources you need.
9. Your answers lie inside you.
The answers to Life's questions lie inside you.All you need to do is look, listen and trust.
10. You will forget all this.

Sorry,I have no idea who the author is.

"The Mexicans refer to the American two-party system as 'the Beast with two heads'. The ruling elite divides itself artificially into 2 'sporting teams' in which they argue over trivial issues while agreeing on the mass, And because they appear to be arguing, it creates the illusion of dissent and change. Huxley referred to the concentration camps of the future... through propaganda, or you could call it 'public relations', pharmaceutical drugs that alter behavior and, quite frankly, educational systems, that the concentration camps of the future will be voluntary. People will actually embrace the system. We forget that enslaved peoples often embrace the slavery because they know nothing else... Almost all the people in the West have been raised like hot-house vegetables"

Mark Mirabello, Ph.D, a Professor of History at Shawnee State University, said in M.A. Littler's maverick film on freedom, Kingdom of Survival

In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.

Government as such is not only not an evil, but the most necessary and beneficial institution, as without it no lasting social cooperation and no civilization could be developed and preserved.

If your theory is found to be against the second law of thermodynamics, I give you no hope; there is nothing for it but to collapse in deepest humiliation.

Bought some more!

I hate a drinking companion, says the Greek proverb, who never forgets. The follies of the last debauch should be buried in eternal oblivion, in order to give full scope to the follies of the next.

More things in politics happen by accident or exhaustion than happen by conspiracy.
