A fellow member of Toastmasters gave a speech on his favorite comic strips. It was fun to listen to.

This was last night, but I was watching a video of the old G1 Transformers cartoon that showed all the times Starscream was abused. It was mostly by other Decepticons and he deserved it for being such an annoying whiny bugger, but he was still quite the chew toy. I started laughing when it showed Megatron saying to him "You're either a liar, or you're stupid!", and Starscream cries out "I'M STUPID! I'M STUPID!!"

A few hours ago I accidentally said to my mother on the phone that my most recent emails that I could still find were from 1912 instead of 2012. We both had a laugh over that.

An Internet article about cat behavior-I could relate! Every single one of those behaviors reminded me of something one or more of my own cats did.

I was just watching a bunch of sketches from The Muppet Show, and then I saw one where a couple of Whatnot Muppets are singing a song called "I'm So Happy", in a very dreary, gloomy tone, and both the two Muppets and the room they're in are absolutely covered in sheets of cobwebs.

It was weird, even for the Muppets, but I couldn't stop laughing. They're singing a song about being their being happy in the most depressing way possible, which made it hilarious!

This isn't rolling on the floor funny, but the tennis final in Hamburg, Germany features a German, Florian MAYER and an Argentinean, Leonardo MEYER. It isn't funny, but the similarity of the names is interesting to me. I have a special interest in names and their ethnic origin. I also like seeing how many players share the same first name. Far and away, John, or some ethnic equivalent thereof, is the most common. David and Den(n)is are also fairly common.
