I'm curious if other Aspies are drawn to it because there is a lot of motion, a lot of bleeps and bloops, just a lot of stuff that grabs my attention when other music is becoming more and more mundane for me.

Each of the following examples has a "bass drop" at some point where the music goes from pretty to ugly, and that's kind of what defines it for me. I like the pretty digital stuff too, but the bass drop and all the sound effects... yeeeaaah.

I'm not an aspie but my boyfriend May be, and he loves electronic music. Dubstep he dosnt mind, but not all of it does he like because they mesh a lot of sounds that he finds don't work together etc.

All I gotta say is I love dubstep and I love eurodance/techno/house. :) <3 But I really hate skillrex, maybe because of him as a person, and how he is and how fake he is. It makes me sad that he "represents dubstep" in NA. There is much much better Djs out there~ And I just wish people were opening to learning of them

The dubstep beat sounds cool and all, but I more drawn into hip-hop, r & b, and rap.

I really hate when there's singing in it. Trance just sounds better to me lately.

I'm not an Aspie either but I love dubstep as well. I love those songs^^^ and I really like Flux Pavilion, particularly the song "I can't stop". Okay I know this was intended for the folks with AS so I'll let them answer, but couldn't resist!

I love dubstep! The more bass drops the better. I love Skrillex's Bangarang album.

I love electronic and trance music like 'owl city' (who's a fellow aspie) , 'lights' and 'and then there were none'
but I hatehatehate dubstep. I don't like the mish-mash of sounds and the fast pace. It sometimes even leads to sensory overloads/shut downs.

I can't say that I like dubstep because it's possible that I don't like that many of the songs. I can hear dubstep influence in some other songs now though and I like it.

I like these three songs so much. I have listened to them over and over.

This part of this song. I like the whole song, but this is the main thing I like. I love this. If anyone has any similar songs please post or send it to me.

I absolutely LOVE dubstep, blast in my car on the way to and from work and I get so pumped I can take on the world, for a little while anyway. :)

There was a thread a while ago where there were a lot of embedded videos of some of the best dubstep songs ever. Bassnectar's remix of Ellie(?) Goulding? (spelling?) "Lights" is one of the coolest pop music remixes to me.

I have synesthesia with sound and tactile so I literally feel the bass (not just the subwoofer part that everyone can feel as vibration); it's hard to describe and I'm not very poetic usually lol :D

Trance worked for a real long time, until I discovered dubstep. For trance I still like Juno Reactor and Orbital a lot. Probably familiar names by now.

I'd never listened to the lyrics of this song from the perspective of an Aspie. I kinda like the song better now.

"Every step that I take is just another mistake to you," amongst other lines.
